Corlyn Nelson and TJ Ford, of Livingston, knew they were going to have a baby boy — but not exactly when. The couple’s first child was due Dec. 23, so when that date drew near the speculation game began. Would the baby arrive on Dec. 12 and be a 12-12-12 baby, or maybe on Dec. 21 when the Mayan calendar was set to run out? Then there was talk of having a Christmas baby. But as it turned out, this baby was thinking more 2013, and 10 days later than expected. At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, Sebastian Silas Ford came into the world weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce — the first 2013 baby born at Livingston HealthCare. When asked if the name Sebastian had any special meaning, Corlyn replied, “No, we just picked the name. We just wanted something unique but not too crazy, you know. So we picked one that was kind of old school.” Enterprise photo by Shawn Raecke
